Add water and dissolve. The green tea doesn't dissolve that well, so this is fine.
Add the boiling water, and mix with a spoon.
Mix and mix for 10 seconds, and it thickens and becomes syrupy. Done. If it doesn't thicken though, microwave for 30 seconds until it does become syrupy.
Here I used 1 heaping teaspoon of katakuriko. It's quite thin.

1 Matcha (powdered green tea)
2 tsp or so Brown sugar or white sugar
1 tbsp Water
120 ml Boiling hot water or more (adjust to taste)
1 to 3 heaping tsp Katakuriko
