Step:

  1. If using fresh peaches place in a bowl of boiled water for a few minutes in order to remove their skin (if using tinned peaches miss out this stage)

  2. Put the peaches, cinnamon stick, cloves, sugar and the cava in a serving dish

  3. Place in a microwave oven on maximum for 10 minutes - remove halfway through and move the mixture around before returning to the microwave

  4. Remove the cinnamon stick and cloves and set a side to cool before placing in the fridge

  5. Serve cold with fresh cream

  1. 4 peaches (you can also use good quality tinned peaches)
  2. 1/2 bottle of medium dry cava
  3. 3 cloves []
  4. 4 tsp brown sugar
  5. 1 stick cinnamon
