Step:

  1. Preheat the oven to gas 6 / 200C / 400°F

  2. Cut the carrots into batons/sticks, around 1cm thickness and 8cm length

  3. Drizzle or spray the oil over a lined baking tray

  4. Add the carrot batons then sprinkle over the cornstarch and some fresh black pepper

  5. Toss the carrots to coat in the oil/starch mixture and let bake for 45 minutes

  6. Mix the tarragon and salt together then season the carrots with it before serving


Ingredients

  1. 1 kg carrots
  2. 1 fresh black pepper
  3. 2 tsp chopped tarragon
  4. 1/4 tsp low-sodium salt
  5. 2 tbsp cornflour / corn starch or starch of choice
  6. 2 tbsp sunflower oil or use spray oil
