Step:

  1. In a large saucepan heat broths and cream to a boil, add pierogies cover reduce heat to low and cook 5 minutes, turn heat off and let sit in hot broth while preparing vegetables.

  2. In a skillet heat butter add mushrooms cook for a few minutes then add onion, pepper, garlic and seasonings cook all until tender, if it gets dry add a bit of broth from pierogie pot.

  3. Remove pierogies from broth and add to cooked vegetables gently mix, add cheese and serve.


Ingredients

  1. 12 Pierogies, any flavor I used four cheese and potato
  2. 1 tbsp butter
  3. 2 poblano peppers, seeded and sliced
  4. 1 large onion, sliced
  5. 6 button mushrooms, sliced
  6. 4 clove garlic, minced
  7. 1/2 tsp cajun seasoning
  8. 1/2 pepper and salt to taste
  9. 1/4 cup parmesan cheese
  10. 2 cup chicken broth
  11. 2 cup beef broth
  12. 2 tbsp heavy cream
