Mix brown sugar, basil, salt, garlic powder, and pepper in a small bowl.
In a large bowl, drizzle oil over vegetables.
Toss well to coat.
Add seasoning mixture.

Place vegetables in a grill basket or rack, or thread onto skewers.
Grill over medium heat 10 to 12 minutes or until vegetables are tender, turning occasionally.
*If using sweet potatoes, pierce them with a fork and microwave 2 to 3 minutes on high or until tender, before grilling.*
