Cut all the vegetables into cubes
Make a paste of mustard and Poppy seed and keep aside
Fry the vadi in a heated pan with oil and keep aside
Now add oil to the pan and fry the bitter gourd keep aside
Now add celery seeds and a little bit of mustard seed along with the red chill
Add all the veg slices except bitter gourd fry well.
Add salt and turmeric and fry well.
Add water and cover it.keep it on low flame
Add bitter gourd and the fried vadi at this stage
Once vegetables get soft add the mustard and Poppy seed paste,sugar and stir well.
Now remote it from heat and serve it with steaming rice
